Vacation, Woo Hoo!

We have just returned from a much needed and enjoyed vacation.

First we went to San Marcos, Texas (close to Austin) to visit our good friends Mary and Paul and their family. We had an awesome time as always when visiting them. The kids were thrilled to go somewhere we didn't have to wear a coat after our super cold winter. We celebrated Doug's and my birthday while in Texas.

Watching the Superbowl with "Uncle Paul". Evan found a new pig to love when visiting. Our dog Devan ate his shortly before we left and he was very upset without him.

The next stop was in Phoenix to visit with Doug's parents. We had such a nice visit that no one wanted to leave. It didn't help to realize it wouldn't be until June before we would have weather like we were enjoying while we were there. We just loved hang out by the pool but didn't remember to bring the camera one day. We celebrated our 2nd Gotcha Day with Evan and Grammy Rita's birthday (she asked me not to post which one) :)

Emma and Evan really do love and enjoy eachothers company. I am so glad that they do.

Happy Birthday Grammy Rita. This is the cake that Emma planned and she made with Grandpa. We had to suffer by sitting on the patio in the beautiful sunshine.

We are leaving behind the sunshine and palm trees.

As you can see Emma is sad and doesn't want to leave.

The fourth and final plane ride. Soon we will be home.....
